Whether you’re a seasoned angler or just starting out, Arizona Mountain Adventures is one of our go-to’s for guests looking to experience fishing in the White Mountains!

From half-day excursions to full-day adventures, there’s plenty of opportunity to immerse yourself in the beauty of the outdoors while perfecting your fly fishing technique. It’s about more than just the thrill of hooking a fish; it’s about fostering a deep bond with the natural world and savoring the tranquil beauty of the White Mountains.

 

2 hour lesson $50

Basic gear terminology, rigging up the rod, fly choice, tying on the fly, roll and full cast, landing the fish and releasing it safely. First Student: $50, each additional student up to 3 more are $50 each.  Larger groups can be accommodated, please call for details and pricing.

Guided fly-fishing trips

All trips begin with a pick-up or meet at your lodging venue. Anyone under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian during the trip. We fish local river and creek waters as the preferred venue. We do not have boats or float tubes for lake fishing.

Half Day trip: $300 for 1 to 2 anglers

Approximately 4 hours, leave early morning or can do a late afternoon to evening trip, unless it is monsoon season. Use of rods, flies, leader and tippet are included. Light snacks are provided.

Full day trip: $400 for 1 to 2 anglers

Approximately 8 hours, leave early morning- especially in summer while the water is cooler and fish are more active. Use of gear is included as are flies, leader and tippet. We provide a shore lunch of sandwiches, snacks, fruit, cookies and other goodies. We can accommodate dietary needs if arranged in advance. We wet-wade and either drive or hike to holes, depending on experience and venue. If you are brand new to the sport, it is recommended that you take the 2 hour lesson before you do a trip
